Die 2003 vom österreichischen Blockflötisten Michael Oman gegründete Austrian Baroque Company zählt zu den führenden Alte Musik-Formationen des Landes. Bereits im Gründungsjahr spielte man für das Label des ORF Instrumentalmusik des 16. bis 18. Jahrhunderts aus dem mediterranen Raum ein. Zu dem 20-jährigen Ensemblejubiläum wird die viel beachtete Einspielung auf FRA BERNARDO wiederveröffentlicht.
