Irgendwie

The second album of Love A contains eleven new and two older tracks (singles, that appear in new versions here), oscillating between raw German speaking punk and melodic indie rock with an influence of pop. Lyrics deal with politics, humour, cynicism and observations of daily life, somewhere between punk rock fury and being mellowed with age. The drums come straight and to the point, the non distorted guitar travels between staccato salvos and melodic excursions, the bass pushes und backs and the voice yells, sings and proclaims in German speech. With the help of Robert Whitely, Liverpool located producer (Wombats, Hot Club De Paris, Voo), recordings mirror perfectly the bands sound which is unique and catchy at the same time. Minimalism meets melody, think of a mixture of (post-)punk, indie pop/rock and NDW (Neue Deutsche Welle).
