Ein Album voller Überraschungen. Hier hört man Sounds von selbst gebauten Synthies, oder die klassischen Elektroniksounds von 1980, wie man sie von Klaus Schulze kennt. Ein spannendes Album mit einer tiefen Atmosphäre, die einen in bizarre Traumlandschaften trägt. Gelegentliche schräge Sounds lösen sich auf in Schroeder-typische Sequenzerläufe, manchmal denkt man, man geht alleine im Dunkeln spazieren und sieht Laternenlichter immer wieder an sich vorbeistreifen. Herrlich zum Träumen. Floating Music ist mein persönlicher Favorit! Die neue Edition hat einen langen Bonus Track: Floating Music in Slow Motion in Anlehnung an die IC-Vinyls, die für 45rpm vorgesehen waren, aber auch in SlowMo auf 33 rpm abgespielt weden konnten.
