Like the film noir damsels of 1920s Berlin - petulant, sexual and ambiguous - so are the 2 front women, Trinity and Mad Kate - naturally vivacious, visceral, and insanely energized. Back them up with Tex Morton (Mad Sin, Sunny Domestos) on screaming guitars, Luscious Lloyd (Sin City Circus Ladies) on slap bass and Nico "Lipps" Lippolis (Colinda, Bob Rutman) beating on the drums - and you have a sound like a suicide pilot dive-bombing your rocknroll senses. Its a raucous, rockin, sweet smellin, 100% unbending creative force fit for any dance floor - an eclectic mix of spooky punk cabaret songs, soulful garage numbers & dirty rockabilly riffs. Starting with the garage beat scorcher, Don't Look Back, you're on a rock n roller-coaster that sends you flying and leads you into the smoky blues corners of If You Love Me. Thick in the Sin City of the 1920s, the title track, Voluptuous Panic! is signature punkcabaret - a musical representation of hedonist nightlife. You are now deep in the queens cocktail, a mix of the fantastical waltz that was Berlins Weimar Republic and the 2 Minute Fuck anarchy that ruled the streets.
