Mit Wu Wei, Ingolf Burkhardt und Florian Weber haben sich im Trio Silk Jazz drei herausragende Musikerpersönlichkeiten gefunden. Ihre Musik entsteht frei - keine Absprachen, keine Noten, sondern pures Aufeinander hören und Interagieren. Während der Aufnahme-Session entstanden über 90 Tracks frei improvisierter Musik. Mit Into the unknown gelingt es dem Trio, aus dem schier unendlichen Material eine musikalische Erzählung zu entwickeln, die die Natürlichkeit des Zusammenspiels ebenso vermittelt wie die Abenteuerlust und Begeisterung, neue Farben zu suchen und zu finden.
