With 'Blod Og Jern', the Danish Ildskaers release their second album. Cooler, nihilistic blackmetal as only Scandinavian bands can write it. Uncompromisingly gloomy. Releases as CD and Vinyl LP on Vendetta. The Danish Ildskaer have chosen a difficult topic for their second child. Contents, the band deals very critically with the Schleswig War between Denmark and Prussia around the year 1860. Like a kind of soundtrack, they underline this gloomy theme with a no less gloomy and cool sound. "Blog Og Jern" (blood and iron) has become a real masterpiece and the band no longer needs to hide behind the omnipresent Afsky. In addition to the genre usual stylistic means, cleverly smaller solos and organ passages are built in, which distinguish the album from many other productions and build a menacing atmosphere. Perhaps the best Danish metal album of the year.
