Streckmittel aus dem Ruhrgebiet hauen hier ihre Debüt LP raus. Entgegen des Bandnamens sind ihre Songs ganz und gar nicht gestreckt, sondern kompromisslos ohne viel Tamm-Tamm direkt nach vorne. Die Rede ist hier von Deutschpunk oder deutschsprachigen Punk, aber Streckmittel ist es ziemlich egal wie ihr es nennt. Es wird schnörkellos ausgeteilt gegen Faschos, Querdenkende, Fahrkartenkontrollierende und Konsumgesellschaft. Leute von Streckmittel waren oder sind in Bands wie Alarmstufe Gerd, Charging Chucks, This April Scenery, Los Gringos u.v.m. aktiv. Die Scheibe kommt in einem tollen Artwork, limitiert auf 200 Stück im klassischen Schwarz! Im Themesong der Band heißt es "Streckmittel! Streckmittel! Alle brauchen Streckmittel" - dem ist nichts hinzu zu fügen.
