Debütalbum des französischen Emo- / Postpunk-Quintetts als Vinyl-Only auf Gunner. Aus Angers stammend, war die Band als Wank For Peace schon von 2008 bis 2016 aktiv und teilt sich jetzt den neuen Bandnamen mit einer US-Formation. Punk, Hardcore und Emo bringen sie auf den zehn Songs mit ruppiger Wucht zusammen, überbordend und jeden Schöngeist ablehnend. Doch sowohl für Melodien als auch für melancholische Zwischentöne lässt "Erosion" genug Raum, Backgroundchöre, dynamischer Songaufbau und tolle Melodien finden sich ebenfalls. Nummern wie "A Reasonable Bully", "That Couldn't Be Less Funny", "The Ridge Gets Thinner" oder "From Safety To Boredom" erfinden das The-Fest-Punk-Rad nicht neu, sind aber erfreulich Lo-Fi und ungebügelt in Szene gesetzt.
