Finally available again! The 2014 album Shoulders & Giants by Hamburg post-rockers Collapse Under The Empire. Released as a CD on the band's own label Finaltune. With their cinematic songs, the Hamburg duo Collapse Under The Empire attracted the attention of international specialist magazines such as Q-Magazin and Rocksounds shortly after they were founded in 2008. The hallmarks are the spherical soundscapes, which are equally dominated by guitars and synthesizers, creating an atmosphere that is able to convey great feelings through complex changes in style. Actually located in the area of post-rock, Chris Burda and Martin Grimm present themselves astonishingly openly on their third longplayer and arrange their songs across genres. In addition to the ubiquitous electric guitar, influences from synth pop, trip hop and electronica can also be found.
