Founded in 2008, COLLAPSE UNDER THE EMPIRE gained veryfast the interest of the national and international press and the worlds post-rock community - even though the band has neverplayed one live show up to today! So far the duo released threelong-players and many EPs, which have a characteristic andalso constantly refi ned aesthetics. Furthermore, the duo isrepresented on the legendary ,Emo Diaries" compilation of theU.S. label DEEP ELM (JIMMY EAT WORLD, etc.) and contributed tunes to the soundtrack of ,Sharks do not Cry" a short film of the NGO ,Shark Project", against the the extinction of sharks fights. ,Fragments Of A Prayer" represents without doubt the next highlight: the instrumental held compositions inspire with enormous multi-faceted, instant orchestral epics, full of haunting melodies, skyward guitars, electronic- and wind-, string- and piano sounds.
