Das neue Studioalbum der Klassik-Wave-Formation BELLA DONNA (ex-ARTWORK). ‘The Edge’ erscheint als CD auf ETAGE MUSIC. Der Bandname BELLA DONNA ist der gleichnamigen 1997er ARTWORK-Veröffentlichung entlehnt und gibt damit gleichzeitig die musikalische Richtung dieser neuen Formation um Mastermind JOCHEN SCHOBERTH an. Bereits mit dem Album ‘II’ (2006) knüpft der frühere ARTWORK-Chef dabei nahtlos an den bandtypischen Sound der Vorgängergruppe an und präsentiert eine kunstvolle und betörende Kombination aus melancholischem Wave, Klassikelementen und Psychedelic. Die Reise von BELLA DONNA ging dann mit dem Album ‘III’ (2011) weiter. Danach gab es eine längere kreative Pause und nach acht Jahren kehrt das umtriebige Szene-Urgestein mit dem aktuellen Album ‘The Edge’ zurück.
