Enno Palucca, seit einem Dritteljahrhundert Schlagzeuger der Goldenen Zitronen, veröffentlicht sein zweites Soloalbum in zwanzig Jahren. Der Titel "Inside" verrät gleich: Da geht es um Introspektive und Drinbleibenmüssen. In der splendid isolation seines Dachkammerstudios hatte Enno viel Zeit Songs zu schreiben und aufzunehmen. Herausgekommen ist ein oft kontemplatives Album. Denn obwohl Enno Palucca noch immer "Punk im Kopf" ist, finden sich darauf herzzerreißende Balladen über verstorbene Haustiere, bitterböse Mordfantasien im Liebesliedgewand, oder auch eine stadiontaugliche Hymne zu Ehren des Mittagsschlafs.
