The Place Where I Belong

With the debut 'Your Time Has Come', the English have played their way into the hearts of all friends of traditional 77 punk & classic oi sounds in no time. "The Place Where I Belong" now noticeably shows the band one step further. From late seventy Powerpop / Britpunk as in "Skinhead Not Bonehead" to the goose bumps refrain hymns such as "Here I Stand" to songs where rough-charming 2-tone offbeats meet punkrefrains or the relaxed THE CLASH / THE RUTS-moderate. Groovern "A Country Fit For Heroes?" and "Sign Of The Times" present themselves GIMP FIST tastefully and confidently, bursting with joy and melodieseliness and present the best of the British punk tradition with a security that you are otherwise only used to from internationally known acts such as RANCID or BOMBSHELL ROCKS. "The Place Where I Belong" is no less than an absolute genre highlight. Punk Tip!
