Modern Fear

A new hardcore punk band is born: DRIFTOFF arrive with their debut EP on colored vinyl via GOLDEN ANTENNA RECORDS. Driftoff from Brooklyn are composed of members of JUNIUS, ROSETTA and CITY OF SHIPS and their sound can be seen as an intense evolution of those wild approaches that were not quite as much in focus in the other projects. With their debut EP 'Modern Fear', Driftop have created a work that is perfectly suited to introduce the band to the world: post-hardcore with emotions à la Quicksand, Hot Water Music or Planes Mistaks for Stars is offered to the listener here and with powerful guitars, iron rhythms and the triple vocals of MIKE NIEVES NIEVES NIUS), ERIC JERNIGAN (ROSETTA, CITY OF SHIPS) and bassist JOEL MUNGUIA is created a wonderful and energetic mood. The whole thing was recorded and mixed by WILL BENOIT (CASPIAN, JUNIUS, CONSTANTS) at The Radar Studio in Connecticut, for the mastering is Carl Saff (Big Business, Sweet Cobra).
