Thompson, H: Blast ... Wo die Büffel röhren

Chaos ist vorprogrammiert, wenn der Journalist Hunter S. Thompson (Bill Murray) irgendwo auftaucht. Ist auch noch sein verrückter Anwalt Lazlo (Peter Boyle) in der Nähe, geschieht garantiert eine Sensation. Als Lazlo für 4 Jahre wegen Beleidigung eines Gerichts Urlaub im Staatsgefängnis macht, schlägt sich Hunter mehr recht als schlecht durch. Aus der Haft endlich entlassen, beginnt Lazlo einen florierenden Waffenschmuggel mit Südamerika, während Hunter versucht, seriös zu werden. Natürlich kommt aber wieder alles anders als gedacht .
