Mit „Fruits of Passion & Sorrow“ legt die nun schon vor 25 Jahren im österreichischen Graz gegründete JBBG – Jazz Bigband Graz ihre nunmehr zwölfte CD – Produktion vor. Wieder einmal ist es eine Produktion im Kleinformat, dem Quintett JBBG – Smål. Und mit dem armenischen Percussionisten Arto Tunçboyaciyan, auch durch seine Zusammenarbeit mit Joe Zawinul oder auch Mike Stern präsent, sowie dem deutschen, durch Popkünstler Jan Delay oder auch die Band „Heavytones“ (TV Total) bekannt gewordenen Gitarristen Hanno Busch sind wieder einmal internationale Gäste mit an Bord, die den Sound der Produktion („Wunderbar!“ - Ernst Weiss / CONCERTO MAGAZIN) entscheidend prägen.
