Walther and Cutting take their listeners on a journey - from traditional songs and instrumental pieces from their respective homeland to new compositions to favourite pieces from all over Europe. The album was recorded in June 2023 in four days at the Artes Tonstudio Esslingen, music was played in a recording room without acoustic separation to give spontaneity and interaction the greatest possible space and make the music alive in this way. The result is an audible and noticeable closeness and intimacy, as close to a live performance as possible. While some pieces took time to develop, others were literally recorded and used as "First Take".
