Romanian Tales

Romanian Tales is het debuut van de Roemeense zangeres Diana Rasina. Ze studeerde in Wenen klassieke zang en jazz, maar wijdt zich op deze cd volledig aan de Roemeense traditie. Dans- en liefdesliederen, archa´sche herdersballades en Roma-liederen staan op het programma. Ze wordt begeleid door Dimitar Karamitev (Bulgarije) op herdersfluit, Laszlo Racz (Hongarije) op cimbalom en Jovan Torbica (ServiÙ) op contrabas.
