PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Like the kangaroo, the koala is one of the most famous representatives of Australian fauna and is bursting with extraordinary features. The nocturnal tree inhabitants are similar to the kangaroos bag mammals. They have a water-repellent fur and two thumbs on their front feet with fingertips, which have papillary strips similar to those of humans. Most of the day the koala bear spends sleeping and becomes active almost only for food intake and reproduction. With its large, sensitive nose, it can smell whether the eucalyptus leaves, on which it feeds almost exclusively contain toxins. It also uses his nose to locate mothers or young animals. In the Aboriginal language, "koala" means "without water", so its name goes back to the fact that koalas drink extremely rarely. The Bullyland toy figure has a size of approx. 7 cm and is lifelike hand painted.
