In an old school in the countryside, in the middle of Sweden, it was recorded together with Kristoffer Jänson (Jeniferever) in winter 2016/2017. Over several days, in crackling fire, the tracks slowly took shape and were finally mixed and mastered by renowned producer and audio expert Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna). The result is arguably the most focused and direct album Scraps of Taps have ever released. With its six tracks, The Will To Burn bursts into life - like a lit match - and brings light into the dark like a flickering hopeful flame.
