Dorfhelferin Katja Baumann legt sich mit dem neuen Friedhofswärter an. Denn dieser will die junge Madita des Friedhofs verweisen, als sie um ihre verstorbene Mutter trauert. Da es aber gar kein Grab der Mutter gibt, wird Katja hellhörig. Sie versucht, in Kontakt mit der Jugendlichen zu kommen, um ihr zu helfen.
Um nicht länger bei Lilly wohnen zu müssen, sucht Amelie eine eigene Wohnung für sich und ihren Sohn.
