Rattlesnake

Neyla Pekarek began playing cello at age nine in her native city of Denver, Colorado. She studied musical theatre and earned a degree in Music Education at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. Here, she releases her debut solo album after performing with The Lumineers on their last couple of albums. Her sound differs from the band in a rather unexpected way - almost having the feel of an original cast recording, as it tells the story of 'Rattlesnake Kate'.
