Deichkind knüpfte mit Hits wie Crew vom Deich und Königlich Royal nahtlos an den Erfolg des ersten Albums an. Zwischen HipHop Juwelen, sympathischem Deichkind-Humor und experimentellen Zwischeneinlagen versteckt sich mit der Elektro-Single Limit ein Vorgeschmack auf den legendären Deichkind Tech-Rap Sound. Nach dem Album wandte sich Deichkind vollständig diesem experimentellen Genre zu. Noch Fünf Minuten Mutti ist somit das letzte Deichkind Album im klassischen HipHop Style.
