Saxons zweites Album, Wheels Of Steel, wurde ursprünglich im Jahr 1980 veröffentlicht und war der Durchbruch für die Band mit Gold in Großbritannien und zwei Top-40-Singles 747 (Strangers In The Night) und Wheels Of Steel, die bis heute die Highlights jeder Live Show sind. Wheels Of Steel gilt als Heavy-Metal-Klassiker und genrebestimmender Song.

Die Neuauflage von Wheels Of Steel enthält einige seltene Demos und Live-Tracks vom ersten Monsters Of Rock Festival, das 1980 in Castle Donington stattfand. Sowohl CD als auch LP enthalten die Originaltexte, seltene Fotos und Memorabilia. Die Vinyl-Versionen sind im farbigen Splatter/Swirl-Vinyl produziert. Die CD-Version wird im 24-seitiges Mediabook veröffentlicht.
