Perhaps the best documented concert recorded at the Fabrik in Hamburg this month of May 1981.The whole band was present, Harry Edison and Joe Newman on trumpet, Beny Powell on trombone, Marshall Royal, Buddy Tate and Billy Mitchell on sax, Nat Pierce on piano, John Heard on double bass and Gus Johnson on drums. everyone world except the so important guitar of Freddie Green which gave this particular rhythm to the Basie All Stars.
