Eine unbekannte, schwache radioaktive Strahlung besorgt die Sicherheitskräfte von Westland. Um die Ursache herauszufinden, steigen Jan Tenner, Laura und Professor Futura in die Tiefe einer Tropfsteinhöhle. Plötzlich bricht die Felswand auf und aus der Öffnung greifen stählerne Fangarme blitzschnell nach unseren Freunden und zerren sie mit sich.
