The South German punk and new wave band Familie Hesselbach caused a sensation between 1980 and 1985, firstregionally and then nationwide. They indulged in a deliberate eclecticism from the musical preferences of theindividual family members and formed these into their unmistakable sound. Disco, pop, punk, rap, no wave, funk, themain thing its danceable. The lyrics in German and Italian, later also in English - and always with a wink. Theirtrademarks were the rousing live quality of the performances and the use of brass instruments, trumpet and clarinetfrom the beginning - the tenor saxophone was added later. After the releases of Familie Hesselbachs first album"1982" (LP 2020) and the tape "Froh zu sein & 8-EP-Sampler" (Double LP 2023), this third LP includes the 1984 EP"Sueddeutschland" and their very last tape "Der Untergang des Hauses H." (1985).
