Das weltberühmte Komiker-Duo Stan Laurel und Oliver Hardy in ihren legendären Hollywood-Spielfilmen: Die komplette Ära bei 20th Century Fox als 6-Disc-Gesamtedition. Ab 1941 drehten Laurel und Hardy sechs Spielfilme für das große Hollywood-Studio 20th Century Fox. Der letzte davon, The Bullfighters, kam 1945 in die Kinos. Die Produktionsweise bei 20th Century Fox unterschied sich stark von der zuvor bei Hal Roach. Die beiden Komiker arbeiteten erstmals strikt nach Drehbuch und Improvisationen vor der Kamera - bei Roach an der Tagesordnung - gab es so gut wie keine mehr.
