Während eines Schneesturms in den Rocky Mountains macht David eine Pause in einem Diner. Dort kann er Kellnerin Ana vor ihrem gewalttätigen Ex-Mann retten. Auf der Weiterfahrt wird David von eben diesem Mann attackiert und von der Straße gedrängt. Bei -40° ist er im Auto gefangen, halb erfroren, hungrig und nicht allein. Da draußen lauert noch etwas viel Gefährlicheres als der Blizzard.
