Illegal entsorgter Giftmüll hat das ultimative Raubtier geschaffen: eine mutierte Riesen-Ratte. Kurz vor Beginn der Wandersaison bereitet Ranger Brody die Öffnung des neuen Campingplatzes vor. Alles läuft gut, bis die gigantische Monsterratte auftaucht und beginnt, Camper zu töten. Die Ranger werden selbst zum Opfer, nur der lokale Kammerjäger Lenny kann es mit der verdammt großen Ratte aufnehmen.
