Das Sextett aus Denver, Colorado, existiert seit 1992, hat bislang acht Alben veröffentlicht, ist jedoch in Europa kaum bekannt. Letzteres wird sich ändern. Denn spätestens seit dem Auftritt des Slim Cessna s Auto Club auf dem Orange-Blossom-Special-Festival 2011 wissen die Glücklichen, die dort waren, warum der Band das Prädikat "Beste Liveband der USA" anhaftet. Hinter einer irren Bühnenshow stecken brillante Musiker und hervorragende Songs. Slim Cessna s Auto Club sind wie ein Prisma, das die Bestandteile amerikanischer Musik aufteilt und neu zusammensetzt. Seien es jiddische Einflüsse, Gospel, Osteuropäisches, Southern Voodoo Twang, klassische Country-Balladen bis hin zu Noise Rock. Nachzuhören auf dem Best-of "An Introduction For Young And Old Europe".
Das Album enthält 15 Tracks, fünf davon sind exklusive Neueinspielungen, remastert hat der Pate des Denver-Sounds, Bob Ferbrache.
Dazu gibt es die erste DVD der Band, ein komplettes Konzert aus dem Jahr 2012, aufgenommen im Lion s Lair in Denver.
