Prachtig opgenomen in situ in het Rifgebergte in de herfst van 2019, presenteert deze 110 minuten durende dubbel-cd deze legendarische muzikanten. The Master Musicians, gevestigd in Jajouka, Marokko, zijn een collectief van Jbala Soefi trance muzikanten, toegewijd aan het creÙren van een hedendaagse vertegenwoordiging van hun eeuwenoude muzikale traditie. Het album is geproduceerd door bandleider Bachir Attar, en op n na zijn alle nummers langer dan 10 minuten. Het is duidelijk dat deze opnames op gezaghebbende wijze de essentie van dit tijdloze ensemble vatten. Hypnotiserend en extreem intens.
