Zwei der berühmtesten frühbarocken Orgeln Deutschlands konnte Léon Berben für seine Gesamteinspielung der Orgelwerke von Matthias Weckmann (ca.1616-1674) nutzen: die Hans Scherer-Orgel (1624) der Stephanuskirche in Tangermünde und die Friedrich Stellwagen-Orgel (1636) in der Lübecker St. Jakobi-Kirche. Beide authentische Instrumente sind wunderbar erhalten und wurden vorbildlich restauriert.
