Laurel Aitken is one of the most popular entertainers on the Ska scene today. Pama was the name of the label that was started in 1967. Originally a Soul label, the demand for Jamaican music was so high that Pama launched a number of subsidiary labels, one of them by the name of Nu-Beat. It's succes was largely due to Laurel Aitken. This collection of songs brings together 18 tracks from that golden era of Reggae that have never appeared on CD until now.
