Gloomy Sunday (1931 - 1937)

De geÙmigreerde Russische zanger Pjotr Konstantinowitsch Leschenko (1898 - 1954) was in zijn vaderland immens populair. Hij had een stem die veel mensen raakte en eigenlijk nog steeds raakt. Deze cd laat weer horen waarom hij 'de koning van de Russische tango' werd genoemd. Naast veel tango- en foxtrotmateriaal bevat de cd ook enkele volksliederen uit de Oekra´ne.
