The DIGITUS® category 5e class D patch cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 CAT 5e standard. They guarantee that the cable installation complies with ISO & EN Channel specification and offer excellent performance in DIGITUS® CAT 5e wiring. The performance has been tested up to 100 MHz, including performance characteristics such as close-up talk ("NEXT"). The DIGITUS® patch cables have been specially developed to fully meet all requirements in the various applications. Each cable is equipped with a moulded kink protection grommet with strain relief. In addition, the grommet has a locking lever protection, which prevents the cable from snagging and the locking lever from breaking off the plug. Easy identification of category 5e is made possible by the blue colouring of the plugs.
