Schmidts zweites Studio-Solo-Album aus dem Jahre 1991 ist ein farbenfrohes Mosaik aus Filmmusik und Jazz, aus Rock, Pop, Chanson und allem, was dazwischen existiert. Zwischen festen Songstrukturen und improvisiertem Freistil entwirft der Ex-Can-Keyboarder sieben faszinierende Klangskizzen, die mit anregenden Rhythmen und ausgefallenen Instrumentenkonstellationen zum Mitreisen einladen. Dabei sind unter anderem Gitarrist Peter Weihe, Bandoneon-Virtuose Juan Jose Mosalini und die aus einem anderen Genre bekannte Sängerin Gitte Haenning.
