DJ, Sammler und Experte DJ Crille hat jetzt ein neues Album mit seltenen und tanzbaren Vocal-Harmony- und Doo-Wop-Songs aus den späten 50er und frühen 60er Jahren zusammengestellt, das am 7. April auf Stag-O-Lee veröffentlicht wird.
Das Album mit dem Titel " Vocal Group Madness - 14 Bam-A-Lam Vocal Group Rockers from the 50s and 60s" präsentiert eine Auswahl an Tracks, die selten zu finden und noch nie zusammengestellt wurden. Das Album ist eine Zusammenstellung obskurer und definitiv rockiger Tracks aus den Archiven einiger der coolsten Vocal-Harmony-Gruppen der Ära, darunter The Ideals, The Eventuals, The Neons und Little Anthony and the Imperials. Die meisten dieser Tracks waren zuvor nur auf schwer erhältlichem Vinyl erhältlich und wurden sorgfältig remastered, um ihr volles Klangpotential auszuschöpfen.
Das Album enthält insgesamt 14 Tracks, von denen jeder die rohe Kraft und das stimmliche Können zeigt, die Doo-Wop- und Vocal-Harmony-Gruppen zu dieser Zeit zu einem so beliebten Genre gemacht haben.
