Nachdem die A-cappella-Formation The Bobs aus San Francisco bereits mit 13 Cover-Versionen von Pop-Hits auf dem Sampler Sing the Song Of. (T&M 11824 26, siehe AUDIO 4/1992) aufhören ließ, reicht sie nun The Best nach, wo sie in Plastic Or Paper mit grandioser Stimmbeherrschung darüber nachsinnt, ob sie Bananen in eine Papier- oder Plastiktüte packen soll, und verbreitet in fünfzehn weiteren Songs Albernheiten mit und ohne Bezug auf Schlagzeilen. Soviel Schwung wie auf ihrem Deutschland-Debüt entfaltet sie allerdings nicht mehr.
