Buzzsaw Joint ist eine monatlich stattfindende Londoner Clubnacht, die die Fans mit einer hochverdichteten Mischung aus Rhythm'n'Blues und Rock'n'Roll-Trash betankt. Buzzsaw-Chef Fritz hat zudem eine Mixcloud-Seite ins Leben gerufen, mit Mixen zu Themenabenden, die mit Funden von Sammlern und Jägern, die rund um den Globus aktiv sind, bestückt werden. Da war es nur folgerichtig, dass das Ganze auch auf Tonträger stattfindet. Mit Stag-O-Lee fand sich schnell jemand, der das für eine gute Idee hielt - weitere Folgen sind bereits in Vorbereitung. Wie üblich finden sich zwei Vinyl-Ausgaben auf einer CD zusammengefasst: 34 Tracks in rund 80 Minuten. "Cut 3" erstreckt sich über die ersten 18 Tracks und stammt aus dem Fundus des Mocker s Club Resident Pavinyl. Die zweite Hälfte steuern drei Sammler und Jäger bei, die sich Juke Joint nennen und unbekannt bleiben wollen. Echte Schatzsucher, die sich gerne durch staubige Kellerlöcher wühlen auf der Suche nach dieser einen Original-Single, die den ganzen Aufwand mehr als wert ist. Der vierte Teil enthält 16 weitere Perlen aus den Jahren 1953 bis '62. Die CD kommt mit umfangreichen Track-by-Track-Notes.
