Izabella's latest project combines the sound of vibraphone and harp with very special, extraordinary instruments like glass harp, sundrum, array mbira, marimba, steel drum, crotales or waterphone, which rarely appear in jazz and improvised music. This creates completely new sound worlds. On the CDs sings the extraordinary Polish - Japanese singer Yumi Ito from Basel (CH). Izabella Effenberg won the NEXT GENERATION VIRTUELL competition of the FESTIVALS WOMEN IN JAZZ / HALLE in 2020. In 2018 she received the Culture Award of the City of Nuremberg and in 2020 the Promotion Award of the District of Central Franconia. Since 2021 she is a YAMAHA artist and in July 2022 she was honored as an artist of the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region. She has played with Lars Danielsson, Magnus Öström, Nils Landgren, Katja Riemann, Harald Lesch, Jan Lundgren, Rhoda Scott, Quadro Nuevo, Tony Lakatos, Efrat Alony, Nicole Johänntgen, Karin Hammar, Susan and Martin Weinert, Vladislav Sendecki.
