Persian Lessons

1942, Europa is bezet. De Antwerpse Jood Gilles wordt door SS-soldaten gearresteerd en naar een kamp in Duitsland gestuurd. Hij ontsnapt ternauwernood aan zijn executie door zich voor te doen als Iraans in plaats van Joods. Het gevaar is echter nog niet geweken, want hij krijgt de onmogelijke opdracht SS-officier Koch Perzisch te leren, een taal die hij zelf niet machtig is. Hij verzint elke dag nieuwe 'Perzische' woorden, die hij door een ingenieuze truc moet zien te onthouden. Koch’s verdenkingen nemen echter toe en Gilles beseft dat hij dit geheim niet voor altijd vol zal kunnen houden…
