Yamandu Costa is een opvallend talent op de gitaar, die de moeilijkste toonladders schijnbaar moeiteloos speelt. Hij luisterde intensief naar Baden Powell en Tom Jobim, ontwikkelde daarna zijn eigen stijl. Op deze cd speelt hij instrumentale eigen composities, ergens tussen samba, choro en tango, opvallend ritmisch en met een grote melodische diversiteit.
