Nach einem Flugzeugabsturz muss sich eine Gruppe Studenten und Öko-Aktivisten allein durch den peruanischen Dschungel schlagen. Der Überlebenskampf in der exotischen Umgebung wird zusätzlich auf die Probe gestellt, als die Gruppe auf einen einheimischen Indio-Stamm trifft, der ganz und gar nicht begeistert von der Anwesenheit der Eindringlinge ist. Zu spät stellen diese fest, dass es sich bei dem Stamm um Kannibalen handelt.
