Papillon

The reinterpretation of the film and novel classic - 10 minutes longer than the cinema version! Henri "Papillon" Charrière (Charlie Hunnam) is wrongly convicted of murder in France of the 1930s and must serve his life sentence in the notorious penal colony of St. Laurent in French Guiana. Along the way, Papillon encounters the strange Louis Dega (Rami Malek), a convicted counterfeiter. After he was able to defend him from an attack by other prisoners, they make an agreement: Dega is now under Papillon's protection, in return Dega Papillon's escape attempts. Over time, a deep friendship develops between the two men that helps them survive the heavy work service and sadistic treatment of the guards and which always gives them the strength not to give up. The unabridged long version includes additional scenes such as the Paris entrance scenes, the "Moments of Solitude" by Papillon, the dream sequence "Dega as a pantomime in Paris" and additional sequences of the last prison station of Papillon of the "escape-proof Devil's Island".
