EDITORIAL REVIEWS
The Latvian-born Tatjana Vorobjova began her music education on piano, but passionate interest in early music and harpsichord eventually led her to study harpsichord in Oslo and Köln. Her particular concern, expressed in richness of sound, dynamism and refined nuance, is a search for the expansion of expressive possibilities of the instrument both in solo and continuo. On this recording she presents selected harpsichord works by J. S. Bach, Jean-Philippe Rameau, Domenico Scarlatti and Joseph-Hector Fiocco (1703-41), whose works reveal the heavy influence of François Couperin.
