Messerschmitt fighter, aerodynamically improved 'Friedrich' variant with DB 601 engine, a pair of MG 17 machine guns and MG 151 motorkanone. Kit features crisp engraved panel lines, well detailed cockpit, fully detailed engine with mounts, cowl mounted machine guns, optional tropical sand filter, segmented canopy and separately molded possible parts (slats, flaps, rudder and engine access panels). Ex-ICM Mold. Decals and painting reference for 2 Luftwaffe aircraft: WNr 8673 'Yellow 14' flown by Hauptmann Hans-Joachim Marseille of 3./JG27, Africa, September 1942 and WNr 5749 'White Chevron' flown by Hauptmann Hans 'Assi' Hahn of III./JG2, France, July 1941 - includes instrument markings and stencil data.
