Doch Marthe will sich auch als Künstlerin beweisen, was für Pierre ein Wechselbad der Gefühle bedeutet und die Frage aufwirft, wer hier eigentlich wessen Inspiration ist. Nach „Séraphine“ und „Violette“ zeigt Martin Provost erneut seine Liebe zu unterschätzten Künstlerinnen.
