The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable uses built-in active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.0 device by an additional 3 meters, while still supporting data transfer rates of up to 5Gbps. With its USB A male and USB A female connector, it allows you to connect Type-A devices, such as storage devices, webcams and other Type-A devices, over longer distances to PCs, laptops and tablets, while ensuring flexible placement. Up to 5 of these USB 3.0 Active Extensions Slim can be daisy-chained. In addition, a maximum of 5 of the different cable lengths of these USB 3.0 Active Extensions Slim can be combined with each other. The only exception is the 15m version #43404: as it has 2 chipsets, a maximum of 3 more USB 3.0 Active Extensions Slim can be combined with it. The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Slim is powered by the USB bus, but also features a DC connector to connect a power supply for devices with high power requirements or if you want to connect multiple cables in series. Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable is compatible with all USB Type A equipped computers. The cable's exclusive, slim design allows installation in tight environments, an advantage over other active USB cables that use bulky connectors.
