This Lindy USB 3.1 Gen 2 Active Cable uses integrated active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.1 device with the same data transfer rate up to 10 Gbps and Displayport 1.4 Alternate Mode support by 3m. It combines data and video transmission and power delivery in one cable, making it a perfect solution for use in modern conference rooms and classrooms when LFDs and touch panels are connected. The 3m USB 3.1 Gen 2 C/C active cable also supports Displayport 1.4 Alternate Mode. When transmitting DP 1.4 signals, however, only USB 2.0 with data rates up to 480Mbit/s is supported. USB 3.2 Gen 2 with data rates up to 10Gbps are achieved when DP 1.2 signals are transmitted with resolutions up to 4K 60Hz. The active cable also supports power delivery with up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A). It is compatible with computers with USB 3.1 Type C and Thunderbolt 3 interfaces and is suitable for use with laptops, Macbooks and PCs with Type-C port. It supports plug & play and is easy to install. Information about USB 3.0, USB 3.1 & USB 3.2 USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 PCs, cables and peripherals are compatible with each other, provided they use USB Type A or USB Type C interfaces. USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 support data transfer rates up to 5Gbps. USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 support data transfer rates up to 10Gbps.
